I am Valerie, I was born on December 3rd 1969 and that makes me a Sagittarius and at the time of writing, soon to be 42.
I have had many jobs over my lifetime including nurse, civil servant, sweetie shop assistant, and trainee false teeth maker. I studied art at Art School back in 1997, but that was a whole lifetime ago and I was in a marriage which did not suit me. When the marriage ended I was alone with my two children and found being a Mama more than enough for me.
Now I am married to a wonderful man who is the love of my life and together we have 1 son. I hope to go back to art school one day, anything is possible.
My dearest husband is Duncan. Duncan was born in the springtime and is 35 years old. When we met (in 1998), Duncan was a musician in a band, playing base guitar. His time in the band was coming to an end and he was searching for something new (he found me and my 2 children). After a few dull for cash jobs Duncan went back to college and eventually went to art school himself. He is now working as a designer for a small but reputable design company. Sometimes I think he would like to wander around the house barefoot playing guitar all day again, anything is possible.
Oscar is our little baby. He is 2 years old now, but will forever hold the spot of baby in our hearts. I was medically unable to have any more children before Oscar came along, and I went through a lot physically and emotionally to be able to grow another child. What can I say? He was worth the wait.

C, who is now 22 and my daughter
A who is 20. You wont see much of them here, because they are grown adults living their own lives. My son C does not live with us either. I love them just as much as I love Oscar, but their lives are their own to write about should they choose to do so.
